Best Restaurants To Visit During The Howard County Restaurant Week

Winter restaurant week in Howard County is from January 20 – February 2, 2025. I was very excited when I saw the participating restaurants as I have visited a few of them a few times.

Here, I am going to share my top five from the list of participating restaurants that I have visited. These recommended restaurants have a few things in common; good testing food, great service, and really nice ambiance.

The list is in no particular order so make sure to visit. Remember restaurant week is till 02//2/2025. Even if you are unable to visit any of the restaurants below during restaurant week, you can make an effort to visit them later.

1. CLOVE AND CARDAMOM – Located in Columbia, Maryland.

The restaurant is located in the up and coming buzzling neighborhood in the Merriweather district. The restaurant provides guests an opportunity to savor specialized Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Greek, and Indian cuisines to suit your different moods.

Great decor, cozy environment, great tasting food and good service. What else can you ask for?

2. RATHSKELLER – Located in Elkridge, Maryland.

Rathskeller is a German restaurant that specializes in German cuisine. The restaurant offers hot schnitzels, cold beer, and modern German tunes in their basement Keller (cellar). Or you can also join them for live music on Saturdays. If you are unable to make it there during restaurant week, they have happy hour that starts late at 7pm Monday-Friday.

3. THE FOOD MARKET – Located in Columbia, Maryland.

The food market located in Columbia, Maryland offers a down-to-earth dining experience, and it is one of my favorite brunch locations to visit on Sundays. The vibes are immaculate and even though they have few food options on their menu, their food items are very delicious and will make you come for more. Brunches start at 9 am everyday so be sure to visit.

4. THE TURN HOUSE – Located in Columbia, Maryland.

 I have been to the Turn House several times and I have yet to be disappointed. The restaurant is located on a golf course and is great for outdoor dining. While you enjoy our fresh menu, be sure to request a seat outside, where you can view the golf course and scenery with your meal. One of the best parts of dining at The Turn House is getting beautiful time outside accompanied with an incredible and elevated meal.

5. TINO’S ITALIAN BISTRO – located in Columbia, Maryland.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for Italian food. I have had better pastas and pizzas here than any other locations in Maryland. Tino’s Italian Bistro serves classic, homemade, fresh, authentic dishes at reasonable prices.
