My first post on best restaurants in Maryland was such a hit so I figured I should create a part two and give the readers more options on places to go for some of the best food and experiences in Maryland.
Below are some of the best restaurants in Maryland that I have recently visited for the last few months. Some of these places were a first for me and I will definitely be back.
Chutney Indian Restaurant:
Casual eatery featuring traditional Indian dishes, including vegetarian options, plus a full bar. I visited the location in Columbia, Maryland and I had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the service was top notch so I will gladly recommend it. I got the chicken curry and garlic naan, and my friend got the chicken Biryani and we both really enjoyed the food.
Thai at laurel:
Comfy bistro offering classic & signature Thai fare, including noodle soups & curry entrees. This is a hidden gem located in Laurel, Maryland that is worth the visit. My friends took me there for the very first time after our trip to Ikea, and I am glad they did. I ordered the basil Thai fried rice and also tried their signature fried chicken and boy oh boy. The food was spicy as I had requested, and the service was really fast. I will visit again in the near future.
JAM Eateries:
One of my friends just moved to Ellicott City, Maryland so we decided to explore the neighborhood and stumbled upon this new location for brunch. I was concerned about the wait time as they don’t take reservations, but we were told an hour, so we decided to wait. We waited for like 45 minutes and we were escorted to our seats. I ordered the breakfast tacos, and my friend got the chicken and waffles. Overall great food, great service, and very reasonable prices.
London Curry House Laurel:
This is also a hidden gem in Laurel, Maryland. They offer delivery, takeout and they also have many vegetarian options, and most importantly the food is very tasty, and the service was great. Our server was very attentive and even took some photos for us.Let them know if you like spicy food and they’ll cater to your taste. I also like the aesthetic of the restaurant; they had a red telephone booth in the restaurant, and you can take some pictures like you are actually in London.
Tikka Masala:
Also called the Best Indian Restaurant in Bethesda, is a must visit when you are in the DMV. This location is always packed, and I could now understand why. I really enjoyed the outdoor ambience; the food came on time, and it was very tasty.
Jollof Etcetera:
This is a casual stop serving a variety of traditional African dishes such as lamb & fish stews. If you are craving some delicious African food then stop by for some delicious food and make sure you try their Jollof rice, which is what they are known for.
I will be exploring some new restaurants in the upcoming weeks so bookmark this page and look forward to part three of this series. Enjoy these options above and let me know which ones are your favorites if you have visited.
If you haven’t visited, you can share when you plan to visit, have fun and be back for more.
