Do you have a weight loss goal? Do you want to lose weight and flaunt that new dress on your birthday? Do you wish to lose almost 30 pounds in three (3) months? You are in the right place and you’re talking to the right person. As someone who successfully lost 30 pounds in 3 months, I am here to share my story and how I made it work. Remember, you must put in some work to achieve your goals, you must be very determined and trust me this is not an easy process, but I know if you put in the work, you can achieve your goals. I gained a few pounds during the pandemic, and by a few, I mean thirty (30) pounds. Yes, I really gained 30 pounds while staying at home for over a year and a half. It all started on my flight back from Dubai in June 2021. Being on a plane for over 10 hours was enough time to convince me to begin my weight loss journey in preparation for my 31st birthday coming up in October.
So enough with the stores and let’s get down to business; How did I lose 30 pounds in three (3) months? The answer for me was the OMAD diet and lots of exercising.
I had three (3) months until my birthday so I had to make this work. I started with the TOMAD diet and then eased myself to the OMAD diet after a few days. The first three/four days were the hardest but then my body got used to it and the scale also showed a very positive result, so I stuck with it for three (3) months till all the excess weight was gone.
Your diet makes up over 80% of your weight loss and exercise makes up the other 30% so of course u had to include some exercise in my plan, and this helped me get rid of the excess weight much faster. I indulged myself in cardio exercises for this time frame as I didn’t have a gym membership. I was only able to incorporate strength training later when I was comfortable to make it to the gym.
I was able to successfully get off my diet, but exercise became part of my new lifestyle, and I am enjoying it so far. Even though it was very difficult to start, I now enjoy working out and I made it part of my new healthy lifestyle. I attend Zumba classes, kickboxing, strength training and any fun classes to make me sweat.
